Common Questions

We respond to all enquiries within one business day, usually sooner. If you email on a weekend, expect a response by Monday afternoon. If you haven't heard from us within 24 business hours, please check your spam folder and consider resending.

A brief description of what brings you to seek support is helpful, but don't feel you need to share extensive details in the first email. Let us know your preferred days/times for appointments and whether you prefer in-person or video sessions. We'll discuss everything else when we speak.

Yes. All communication with us is treated as confidential from the first point of contact. We maintain strict privacy standards for enquiries, scheduling, and all client interactions.

Our initial consultations and ongoing sessions are conducted either in person at our office or via secure video platform. We've found these formats more effective than telephone for the type of work we do. Email remains the best way to reach us initially.

We operate by appointment only to ensure we can give each client our full attention. If you're in the area and would like to see our office before booking, email us to arrange a brief visit. We're happy to show you the space and answer quick questions.

If you're experiencing a mental health crisis requiring immediate support, please contact NHS 111 for urgent care, or 999 in emergencies. The Samaritans (116 123) offer 24/7 emotional support. We can usually arrange appointments within one to two weeks for non-urgent concerns.
